Description
Cold Steel - Scottish Dirk with Leather Sheath
Most knife enthusiasts only know the simple decorative pieces as Scottish Dirks, which exist on stages or as wall decorations. The vast majority of them are also not suitable for more.
This excellent version of Cold Steel®, on the other hand, is a modern replica of a weapon and tool that was actually functional and used at that time. The 33 cm blade is made of 1055er carbon steel. It is sharp-edged. The beautiful handle made of Malaysian Salwood transitions into a blued quillon and round pommel. Dirk has a leather sheath with an especially wide belt loop.
This very high-quality dirk is a great addition to a Highland costume
1055 carbon steel
The carbon content and the relatively low levels of other substances in this steel make it a very stable material that is free from the brittleness inherent in most higher-carbon steels. This steel is ideal for blades that require high impact resistance and is therefore often used for large fixed-blade knives, machetes, and swords
