Zaza is the Japanese word for bamboo. Due to its straight growth and fresh green color, it symbolizes growth and purity. In Japanese culture, it is also considered a symbol of luck. The Zaza Iaito, available as both a Katana and a Wakizashi, features the theme of bamboo not only through its decorative elements (Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki, Kashira) but also with small golden bamboo leaves on the scabbard
- Blade in Shinogi-Zukuri style with groove (Bo-Hi), hand-forged, blunt, made of 420 stainless steel
- Handle wrapping made of black cotton in the classic Hineri-Maki style
-Black, high-gloss lacquered scabbard (Cha Ishimi style) with golden bamboo leaves and fittings (Kojiri, Kurigata, Koiguchi) made of buffalo horn
- High-quality, two-tone silk Sageo
- With a long handle, which is secured in the grip with 2 bamboo pegs (Mekugi). The sword is therefore fully disassemblable
