Zaza is Japanese for bamboo. Due to its straight growth and fresh green color, it symbolizes growth and purity. In Japanese culture, he is also considered a symbol of luck.
The lightweight and well-balanced blade is hand-forged from stainless 420 steel and not sharpened. The handle is traditionally wrapped with black cotton, lined with genuine stingray skin. The decorative elements of the sword (Tsuba, Fuchi, Kashira, Menuki) feature bamboo motifs. The black, high-gloss lacquered scabbard has also been decorated with golden bamboo leaves and tied with high-quality, 2-colored sageo. The fittings of the scabbard (Koiguchi, Kurigata, Kojiri) are made of fine buffalo horn
The sword comes with a printed fabric pouch, collector's box, seal, and certificate
