The Sprocket for the Pocket - Designer Henning Marxen combines clean lines with minimalist eccentricity and dynamic functionality in this timeless design. Elements that make the Böker Plus Sprocket more than just a pocket knife, rather a harmonious blend of gears that interlock perfectly like a well-oiled gearbox. The cleaver blade made of D2 steel with a puristic stonewash finish opens silkily via thumb hole and does not lock. It is held in place by the modern Detent-Slipjoint mechanism, where inside the textured, non-slip G110 handle, balls are pressed against the blade, requiring a clamping force to be overcome when closing and opening the knife. "The highlight": The knife features a double joint with a two-part handle, where the blade is unfolded as usual and the rear handle scale acts as an extension of the front. The result: Balanced haptics, rich sharpness, and maximum compactness for transport, as the folder completely disappears in its length in the rear handle scale when closed
