SPQR - One-handed sword Royal Armouries reenactment SK-B
This beautiful one-handed sword is a replica of a late medieval sword from around 1310 AD. Chr., classified as Type XVIIIa according to the Oakeshott typology and can be admired at the Royal Armouries
"This replica features a hardened, to approx.". 49-51 HRC tempered spring steel blade, forged through to the pommel and riveted at the end of the handle. The steel guard has curved ends and the wooden handle wrapped in leather is finished with a sturdy steel pommel. The beautiful sword sheath is made of vegetable-tanned, dyed leather and is finally equipped with a carrying strap that is wrapped around the sheath.
With its blunt, 2 mm thick striking edges and rounded tip, this medieval sword is perfect for reenactment. Combat or sparring.
