John Lee - Imori Wakizashi
Imori is the term for the Japanese salamander. Characteristic are the golden decorative salamanders on the fittings, which give the otherwise rather plain sword its name
- Blade in Shinogi-Zukuri style with groove (Bo-Hi), hand-forged from 1045 carbon steel
- The blade is sharp sharpened with an embedded Hamon line for a particularly authentic look
- Handle wrapping made of black cotton in Katate-Maki style (battle wrap)
- Black, matt lacquered wooden scabbard with glossy black lacquer speckles (Kuroishime style)
- With a long handle, which is secured in the grip with 2 bamboo pegs (Mekugi). The sword is therefore fully disassemblable.
- No plastic is used, only high-quality, authentic materials are used
- Blade collar (Habaki) and washers (Seppa) are made of brass.
- The traditional handle wrapping is lined with genuine ray skin
- All decorative fittings (Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki, Kashira) are made of metal
- Delivery includes a protective fabric cover and an attractive collector's box
- Each original John Lee sword comes with a seal and a certificate
