The Bamboo Stick Katana by Hanwei combines an intricately carved bamboo sword scabbard and handle with a blade (Nagasa) made of 1106561065 carbon steel, hand-forged and traditionally hardened in clay. The sharpness of the cutting edge and the durability of the blade body, which are created by this technique, embody the true secret of the samurai sword.
