Gladius - Sword Falcata
The Falcata was designed around the 5". century BC used by the Greeks. This very front-heavy blade shape was highly functional and combined the advantages of a battle axe and a shortsword. The decorative handle with white inlay is adorned with a lion's head at the end of the handle. The original to this replica is located in the Archaeological Museum in Madrid
