Select a sheath: Zytel or leather
The injection-molded Zytel casing provides a simple, secure, and strong combination of features that every user appreciates. The single-handed operable Zytel case is easy to clean and available in a left-handed version at the same price. Another option is our black leather sheath with an open loop
S1 black coating
If your needs require that no reflections come from your knife blade, we offer a black CeraKote option. The CeraKote is an extremely durable surface coating that also protects the blade from corrosion. CeraKote is a hard coating made of Teflon and ceramic that we use for military users and others who want to avoid shiny blades. Please note that while CeraKote is an industry standard, it is also just a surface treatment of the metal blade, similar to painting a car. Please note that physical abrasions can scratch through the CeraKote coating. Over time, the black CeraKote on the blade may peel off, but more durable coatings make it difficult to sharpen the knife and cost up to 1100 times more than CeraKote
Attaching a black surface to a stainless, perfectly smooth blade in such a way that it adheres for time and eternity is impossible. We have tested some extremely hard coatings, but they have proven to be significantly more expensive and make it more difficult to sharpen the knife
