The 4-MAX is the result of the collaboration between Cold Steel® and the award-winning custom knife maker Andrew Demko and was designed with a single goal in mind: to pack maximum strength and top performance into a 10 cm-long blade. This knife, made according to Andrew's exact specifications, bridges the gap between mass-produced and expensive custom-made knives, and is made from the highest quality materials.

Its extra-wide drop-point blade with stonewash finish is forged from stainless S35V steel and offers an almost perfect balance between durability and edge retention. The tumbled titanium liners and spacers, as well as the 3D CNC-milled handle scales made of glass bead-blasted G10, give this already extremely robust knife even more strength!

This knife is equipped with the groundbreaking Tri-Ad® locking mechanism, making it possibly the strongest production folding knife that Cold Steel® has ever produced! It withstood all of Cold Steel®'s famously rigorous hardness and stress tests across the board and was even able to support a freely hanging weight of just over 360 kg (800 lbs) without any damage!
