A path that Andreas Schweikert knows all too well. The master blacksmith from Talheim in Baden-Württemberg has been handcrafting knives since his youth. For the Magnum Collection 2024, Böker was able to enlist the talented knife smith from the Swabian Alb to continue the successful history of the Magnum annual knives in a worthy manner. The collector's knife, limited to 1999 pieces worldwide, is drop-forged and designed as a compact outdoor knife in integral construction, significantly inspired by classic hunting knives. Characteristic is the satin-finished drop point blade made of 440, whose attractive false edge transitions into a wider blade spine for maximum stability towards the handle. Appropriately, the pronounced bolster echoes the silhouette of the classic hunting knife. The handle made of stabilized curly maple with a distinctive pommel provides a tactile delight. The rocky path becomes the ideal line, the headwind becomes a tailwind, the Böker Magnum Collection 2024 becomes the perfect balance between display case and outdoor adventure. The annual knife is delivered in an elegant wooden box with a high-quality, dark brown leather sheath and a certificate of authenticity.
