While forged straight razors and classic wet shaving are experiencing a renaissance, real broadswords continue to be rare. For the first time in decades, maybe even centuries, we are reintroducing 8/8 inch wide straight razors to our range. During times when powerful blades were more common, 8/8 inch wide straight razors with square tip were referred to as 14er. This marking was stamped into the tang of the blade before the forged blades were hardened. We did not miss out on this special feature and also implemented it in our Böker 14er

The 8/8 inch wide blade not only features a historic blade etching with partial gilding, but also a gilded blade back and tang, elegantly adorned by intricate and detailed laser engraving. The complete polishing of the blade and the double serration on the tang round off the equipment of this knife. We have also oriented ourselves on historical models when it comes to the paper material used. The dark, slightly transparent acrylic cladding harmoniously blends into the overall picture with the subtle brass inlay. The blade is hollow ground with a wall.
