"If you" Shikoto Hammer-Forged Longquan Master When you hold a sword in your hand, you are practically holding the same weapon that a warrior wielded over 2500 years ago. The 1060er carbon steel blade is crafted using forging techniques from the Bronze Age. Each piece is forged freeform and hardened in clay to create a visible hardening line (Hamon). Through deferential tempering, this magnificent sword receives a harder edge and a softer blade back - a distinctive feature of high-quality weapons. The tsuba and handle mounting are made of solid brass. The wooden handle covered with genuine, tea-dyed stingray skin features a traditional cord wrapping.
For storage, there is a black lacquered, polished wooden sheath included. Cord (Sageo) included in delivery. The Nodachi comes with an authenticity certificate included. the technical details of the forging process. Each certificate is signed by the master swordsmith who crafted the blade
