The Canadian wilderness and bushcraft specialist Caleb Musgrave has incorporated his accumulated experience from 20 years into the design of this knife. The simplicity of the design, with the pleasantly contoured linen micarta handle scales and the very sharp, yet stable 3.5 mm thick drop point blade, leaves almost no limits to its range of applications. Whether in the camp, preparing food, hunting, or preparing tinder for the campfire, the TOPS D Fly excels in its strengths. The MOLLE-compatible nylon sheath features a puncture protection, a front pocket, and a removable flap. The blade is made of non-stainless carbon steel and, with proper care, will develop the typical patina of carbon steels over time. The high edge retention and easy sharpening are the classic advantages of carbon steel, which can be particularly valuable in an outdoor knife.
