Cold Steel - Grik Pocket Knife

Cold Steel's® Grik was designed by custom knife maker Andrew Demko and is a pocket-friendly, functional utility and EDC knife.

Its unusual modified spear-point blade is made from Japanese AUS 8A steel. It has been expertly hardened and cryo-treated, offering the perfect balance of edge retention and resharpenability. A shallow notch on the spine of the blade serves both as a comfortable thumb rest for optimal leverage during demanding tasks and as a support for the index finger when performing fine work with the tip of the blade.

The two-tone satin finish with visible grind lines and the contrasting polymer thumb disc with HTR™ coating give the blade a unique look - making the knife not only easy to handle but also pleasing to the eye!

What truly sets the Grik apart from the crowd is its handle! It is made from ergonomically shaped glass-reinforced nylon and features a replaceable, reversible clip. It has such a low, flat profile that the knife sits comfortably and particularly discreetly in any pocket. Additionally, the pocket clip is made of polymer, providing an incredibly comfortable grip. This spares your palm from the typical pressure points that often occur with prolonged use of a pocket knife with a steel clip. And unlike steel clips, paint damage or cracks in the leather seats of your car are excluded!

Stainless Steel AUS 8A
Cold Steel® has been using the same expertly hardened Japanese AUS 8A steel for almost three decades now. This steel is exceptionally well-tested and has proven over the years to be excellently suited for the blade production of working knives: It is tough and corrosion-resistant with good edge retention and also easy to sharpen.
