Casström - Swedish Forest Knife No 10 green Micarta + Firesteel
This great knife is designed as a multipurpose knife for hunting and classic bushcraft tasks. designed for general outdoor use. The blade is approx. 10 cm long and made of approx. Made of 57,8 mm thick Sandvik 159C28N stainless steel, a Swedish knife steel that has been heat treated and hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 57-59 HRC. This razor-sharp blade features a Scandi grind. The combination of steel and grind results in a knife that is very sturdy, yet has a high sharpness and can be easily sharpened.
The handle is made of green linen Micarta. Black liners have been installed between the handle scales and steel to increase the lifespan of the knife.
The knife comes with a durable, frame-stitched sheath made of 3 mm thick, vegetable-tanned full-grain leather in black. The sheath features an especially wide belt loop, a drainage hole, and an eyelet for attaching a lanyard
Steel information: 284C28N is the latest development from Sandvik's famous knife steel collection. Its optimized composition results in a unique combination of excellent properties in terms of edge retention (stability, sharpenability, and sharpness), hardness, and corrosion resistance.
