Description
Böker Arbolito - BK-1
Arbolito BK1 The Boker Arbolito BK-1 (Bushcraft Knife No. 1) represents a Heavy Duty Bushcraft knife in the style of modern pilot survival knives par excellence. The wide drop point blade has an optimal length of 10,3 cm and a medium-high grind for maximum stability. This stability is further ensured by the uncompromising choice of Böhler steel N690. The pommel is continuous and protrudes a few millimeters from the end of the handle. This ensures maximum stability. The handle material chosen is TPE - thermoplastic elastomer. The material completely encloses the tang and is equipped with a classic checkering for optimal grip. TPE is resistant, elastic, non-slip, and has low thermal conductivity. So the knife is securely held in the hand in all weather and working conditions, and does not lose power from the fingers in wet and cold conditions. The recessed sling swivel stud is additionally encased with a stainless steel sleeve. The equipment includes a quiver leather sheath - the king's discipline in sheath construction - with a deep and firm fit of the knife. The knife is thus best protected against loss and damage when carried, without requiring a vulnerable safety mechanism that hinders quick access. A detachable dangler allows for either a high carry position on the belt or a low one under the hip belt of the touring backpack. In addition, the sheath is equipped with a wide leather loop firmly integrated into the piping, providing space for accommodating a fire starter / metal match (9,3 mm) (not included)
