The mollusks that cling to the coasts of Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Mexico, and South Africa a few meters below the water's surface are considered a delicacy and have sparked entire gang wars in the past due to their desirability. Today, this precious natural product is farmed in aquaculture farms. The beautiful and almost artificially shimmering shells of these popular mollusks have always been used as decorative objects, utility items, or as raw material for jewelry, inlays, or mother-of-pearl clasps. By using the latest manufacturing processes, a thin layer of colorful abalone is applied to a carrier material and encased in transparent acrylic. The resulting, highly durable material is perfect for crafting the razor handles and impresses with an extraordinary play of colors and a three-dimensional appearance.

The 6/8 inch wide blade of this extraordinary razor is extra hollow ground for sound and equipped with a double-sided serration.
