Battle Merchant - Viking Long Sax with Leather Handle
This Viking Age seax knife (also Skramasax The EN45-Federstahlklinge with a long blade, strong back, pointed tip, and double fuller. The blade is not sharpened and the full tang is riveted to the pommel.
The hilt consists of a sturdy, short crossguard with an oval shape, a one-piece pommel in the style of the late Viking Age, and a handle with a wooden core, tightly wrapped in brown leather. The guard and pommel are both cast from steel and have been blued, making the handle a real eye-catcher and giving the early medieval knife a rustic character
The Viking Langsax comes with a sturdy, high-quality sheath made of brown, vegetable-tanned leather with beautiful braided seams. Two belt loops allow you to carry the sax horizontally on the belt in typical Viking style.
Please note that this Viking seax is not suitable for combat. It is intended as a collector's item or. Designed as a decorative object, but also excellent as a prop (e.g. to complete your costume) and will simply perfect your transformation into a proud Nordic warrior!
