Windlass Steelcraft - Battlecry Maldon Viking Sword

The Maldon Viking from the Battlecry collection is a light, agile, and resilient blade that reflects what made this style a formidable and almost legendary design. Created to deal with shields, chainmail, and thick fur or leather armor, it was equal to any hand weapon of its time
The semi-circular tip was able to powerfully drill into the target without getting stuck or tangled, while the well-sharpened edge, which was neither too wide nor too narrow, allowed for a wide range of one-handed combination strikes. The handle with the prominent knob provided the user with a firm grip and allowed for a quick pivot point that was easy to manipulate for versatile actions
Due to its ability to deliver fast one-handed strikes, it was ideal for combat with a shield, but also very effective when combined with a sax or even a hand axe.
