The Boshin Midnight Forge Wakizashi is part of United Cutlery's Honshu family, which combines traditional construction methods with modern accents and once again makes a statement. The short sword has a black-coated blade made of 1060 carbon steel, which is unparalleled in terms of sharpness and strength. The handle is wrapped in textured TPR, providing ergonomics and a secure grip. The guard eschews fanciful decorations and instead is designed as a practical, pointed ellipse. In line with the clear, functional theme of the Boshin Wakizashi, the wooden scabbard is finished with a black silk-like sheen and wrapped in black faux leather and cotton cord.
