Fully combat-ready reconstruction of a Viking Age spangenhelmet. This helmet variant was very popular among the early medieval fighters of the North, Vikings, Varangians, Rus, and Normans

Made of 2 mm thick steel. The four parts of the helmet are welded together and securely riveted to the overlapping buckles. The 4 mm thick nasal is hand-forged, as are the typical Eyebrows. The solid construction and overlap ensure maximum durability and therefore great protection during combat. On the inside of the helmet, a high-quality, adjustable, and padded inlay is riveted in. Also riveted are the two chin straps made of cowhide leather with brass buckle
