The elaborately crafted handle of the Maderas Anniversary features scales made of stabilized maple burl wood, underlaid with red fiber layers. As a special accent, Muela installs a polished spacer between the handle scales and the nickel silver bolster, which is also bordered on both sides by red fiber. Both the back spring and the stainless steel liners are adorned with decorative filework that continues all the way to the end of the handle. The blade axis is riveted with a mosaic pin, an absolute rarity for a knife of this design. The satin-finished blade made of 4116-steel is locked by a Lockback.
