The classic multipurpose pocket knife 963-6DC from Mercury is equipped with a rust-resistant blade made of 420er stainless steel, a screwdriver with an integrated bottle opener, a can opener, an awl, a corkscrew, and a picnic fork. For weight savings, the boards are made of lightweight yet high-strength aluminum. Hirschhorn is used as the handle covering. The slipjoint knife does not have a mechanical locking mechanism; instead, the blade in the open position is held back solely by a spring attached to the end of the blade spine.
