Marto - Long Boarding Cutlass

In the past, these boarding knives were given various shapes, and during the Arab invasion, there was an important production of them in Toledo. A selection of these boarding knives can be found at the Museo del Ejercito in Madrid. Its main features are the cross that rises to the handle on one side and falls towards the blade on the other side, and its wide and curved blade. This stylized boarding knife showcases all these features and serves as a reminder that Toledo was also an important center of sword production during its Arabic period
