Hultafors - Wetterhall Throwing Axe 1.6

The Hultafors axes are hand-forged and made from high-quality Swedish steel at the Hults Bruk forge in the Swedish province of Östergötland. The forging technique dates back to the year 1697.

The Wetterhall is a double axe originally used by lumberjacks who had two blades at their disposal. While the first was used for heavy work, the second could be used for precision tasks. Nowadays, it is mainly used in throwing competitions by enthusiasts. The axe is named after the blacksmith who worked the longest at Hults Bruk: Bo Wetterhall.
