This compact hatchet is ideal for hiking in the mountains or for smaller tasks in the garden and forest. With its short handle and light weight, it can easily be packed in a backpack or attached to a belt. The axe head is made from carbon steel at the Hults Bruk forge. The forging tradition dates back to the year 1697. The hatchet is named after the nearby lake Ågelsjön, from which water was once drawn to power the forge's waterwheel. For fatigue-free work, the curved handle is made from shock-resistant American hickory wood. Comes with a high-quality leather sheath.
