Hultafors - Premium Splitting Axe Aby 0.7
This forest axe is a beautiful combination of typical axe types. The Aby features a straight edge and grind, as well as a pronounced finger notch below the axe head for increased precision. The long, thin, ergonomic handle minimizes weight while providing great power when striking. This axe is perfect for building shelters, processing firewood, as well as carving and precision work. The axe is hand-forged and made from carbon steel at the Hults Bruk forge. The forging tradition dates back to the year 1697. The axe is named after Åby, the nearest village to Hults Bruk, where many of the workers lived in the mid-20 century. For fatigue-free work, the curved handle is made from shock-absorbent American hickory wood. Comes with a high-quality leather sheath.
Warning and Safety Information:
Cut Injuries: The most common hazard when using knives is the risk of cut injuries. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the Knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, leading to uncontrolled movements that may cause injuries.
Injuries from falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Dull knives: Dull knives pose a greater risk of injury because they require more force and can slip more easily. Therefore, knives should be regularly and properly sharpened.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks it is not intended for (e.g., as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade but also lead to accidents.
