With its medium-weight head, this Hultafors hunting classic is ideal for lighter forestry work as well as precise skinning of game. This makes it the perfect companion for hunting. The axe is hand-forged and made from carbon steel at the Hults Bruk forge. The forging tradition dates back to the year 1697. The name of this axe comes from Gunnar Ekelund, the estate owner who introduced large-scale axe production at Hults Bruk in the years 1870 - 1875. For fatigue-free work, the curved handle is made from shock-resistant American hickory wood. Comes with a high-quality leather sheath.
