Hanwei - Raptor Tanto

The Raptor Tanto and the Raptor Wakizashi (HN-SH2422) by Hanwei were primarily designed as matching sidearms for the Katanas of the Raptor series, but they are also standalone, very effective cutting tools. The blades are designed in the style of James Williams' personal Nami Ryu swords. With these pieces, combat techniques with all three weapons can be perfected and an impressive collection can be completed at the same time.

Each blade is forged from 5160 carbon steel and undergoes a special heat treatment that ensures very high durability, making it much more resistant to poorly executed strikes than a conventional differentially hardened blade. In addition, the structure of the steel used makes excessive blade thickness unnecessary, so that the blades match the weight and handling of the Japanese originals
