Fox revives the famous knife and presents an accurate replica with a modern mix of materials. Rarely has a replica been implemented as consistently and uncompromisingly as the present Galeazzi. The basic construction is based on a solid piece of stainless steel 420 with a smooth cutting edge, but the inwardly curved blade back is also equipped with an additional serration for cutting ropes and nets. The handle end is also equipped with a sturdy adjustable wrench. With the tool, also known as an Englishman, even large hexagon screws can be easily loosened. The practical sheath is made of thick, greased cowhide. Regular maintenance helps leather withstand saltwater and UV radiation longer than modern plastics.
