Selvans Expeditions was developed in collaboration between Extrema Ratio and Master Advanced Instructor Daniele Dal Canto. It is the result of a modification of the ONTOS - a military survival knife - to enhance its effectiveness as a civilian tool

A longer handle and a heavier blade enable improved chopping and cutting functionality. It comes with a desert Cordura sheath with MOLLE system, a safety shoulder strap, a mini pocket containing a paracord string with flammable thread that can be used in emergencies and/or under difficult climatic conditions, and a Firesteel for igniting fires
