Dönges - Professional Tactical

These knives, with an average blade length of 11,6 cm, are specifically designed for use with gloves (including heavy heat-resistant gloves). The handle scales are uniformly made of heat-resistant G10 with a non-slip Dönges honeycomb structure. All knives feature a 4-way repositionable wire clip (for Tip-Up, Tip-Down carry r/l), blades made of edge-retaining D2 with a ball-bearing pivot, a serration at the blade base for fibrous material, a retractable belt cutter, and a glass breaker.

The all-black Professional Tactical features a steeply designed tanto tip with a single-sided chisel grind. Special consideration was given to the requirements of officers on patrol duty and municipal authorities. These officers regularly need to remove stickers from license plates during vehicle immobilizations. Before the police equipment was uniformly switched to the short extendable baton (EKA), the previous baton had a scraper at the end of the handle specifically for this purpose. The transition to the new baton created a functional gap, which is now filled by the Dönges Professional Tactical. The blade can be opened either by finger flipper or thumb pin.
