Demko Knives - Freereign Blue-Grey
The FREEREIGN with a fixed blade was designed by Andrew Demko to be a tool for tough use. He specifically chose the shape for this blade, which closely resembles the AD15, but with a significantly longer and more powerful blade, due to its versatility. It's almost a spear point, but the tip is slightly above the center line, resulting in a large amount of belly and sharp point that really makes this knife shine. The handle is relatively compact - in relation to the blade - and it is both extremely comfortable and extremely durable.
The knife features a patented contoured plastic sheath that allows you to carry the knife exactly the way you want. A nylon belt loop for vertical carry is included. This loop can be configured for carrying scouts or accommodate all common belt adapters on the market. The Demko guys have thought of everything with this sheath, and although it may be simple, it is one of the selling points for this knife. As we all know, a good knife is not often carried without a good sheath, so we are happy to have something suitable for such a high-quality knife. One loves the clear look of this design and its wide, strong blade with a sturdy handle, both of which seem capable of handling anything. This is the survival/tactical/camping tool for tough use that you've been looking for, and it's not too expensive.
