The axe head of the Condor Tool &; The Knife Sentinel Axe is made of 50075 carbon-rich steel, heat-treated, and has an approximate Rockwell hardness of 50-55. The blade is coated with a black powder coating. The handle wrapped in paracord is made of genuine parachute cord, which has seven inner strands for additional use in a situation where a single piece of rope may not be sufficient. One of the inner strands can also be pulled further apart, so that it can be used as fishing line, sewing thread, or as a helpful tool in any situation where a fine, sturdy cord is needed.
