Cold Steel - Pendleton Hunter Lite Hunting Knife

Over the years, the Pendleton Hunters from Cold Steel® have become increasingly popular, and due to popular demand, Cold Steel® now offers a more affordable Pendleton that is accessible for almost any budget.

With its drop-point blade, simple hand guard, grooved bolster area, and flared handle end for better grip under slippery and rough conditions, the Pendleton Lite Hunter closely resembles the classic models by Lloyd Pendleton. The only significant differences are the use of stainless steel 4116, which has been cryo-treated, and the use of impact-resistant polypropylene for the handle.

This knife was field-tested by Cold Steel® and received top marks. In the field, it proved equally suitable for gutting and skinning animals, demonstrated decent edge retention, was easy to resharpen, and turned out to be incredibly robust.

Stainless Steel Knife 4116
The 4116 steel is a fine-grained, stainless knife steel. It is often used for pharmaceutical devices and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures both excellent rust protection and great strength. Very fine, extremely sharp edges can be sharpened. An excellent choice for outdoor/hunting knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
