Cold Steel - Finn Bear Outdoor Knife

The Finn Bear was designed after its Finnish model. It is an ideal companion in the great outdoors and also excels as an all-purpose knife!

Its blade made of stainless steel 4116 has been cryogenically treated, hollow ground, and hardened to approximately 56-57 HRC. Therefore, it has good edge retention but can also be easily resharpened in the field. It also features a robust tip for piercing and has plenty of belly for skinning and cutting. It is large and sturdy enough to skin game, but also thin and delicate enough to slice a tomato or cut up an apple.

For better traction, the polypropylene handle features a lightly ribbed structure. With its diamond-shaped cross-section, it allows for a variety of grip techniques and will fit perfectly in your hand.

For safe and convenient carrying, the Finn Bear comes with a pouch-like, discreet, versatile polymer sheath. This allows it to be easily worn on the belt or stowed in your backpack or tackle box.

Stainless Steel Knife 4116
The 4116 steel is a fine-grained, stainless knife steel. It is often used for pharmaceutical devices and high-quality kitchen knives. Its balanced carbon-chromium ratio ensures both excellent rust protection and great strength. Very fine, extremely sharp edges can be honed. An excellent choice for outdoor/hunting knives and kitchen knives and utensils.
