Cold Steel - Bowie Bushman Survival Outdoor Knife with Hollow Handle

In this price range, the survival knives from the Bushman collection are hard to beat! Unlike most knives with a hollow handle, there is no connection point or seam between the blade and handle that requires mechanical fastening elements. Instead, the blades and handles of the Bushman knives are cold-forged from a single piece of SK-5 carbon steel! The knives are then professionally heat-treated and hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 54 HRC. During the Cold Steel® tests, the transition between the blade and handle was able to withstand a pressure of over two tons!

Each Bushman blade has been carefully ground thin and then hand honed and razor sharp sharpened. The hollow handles provide space for survival tools and can be extended with various grip extensions to optimize reach or leverage, or to make it easier to throw the knife.

They are available in two different blade designs (Standard and Bowie). In both versions, the blades are continuously curved, making them ideal for skinning and a variety of bushcraft tasks.
