With the design of the Böker Plus Kihon DC, American custom knife maker Lucas Burnley embodies the idea of the Japanese Kihon. The term originally encompasses the basics and fundamental techniques of Japanese martial arts, which Burnley implements in a solid everyday knife. The features and the straightforward design attest to a high practicality and give the knife with the decisive price-performance advantage an ideal basis for everyday cutting tasks. The satin-finished drop point blade made of D2 steel opens smoothly thanks to ball bearings via the removable thumb pin, while the sliding bolt of the Crossbar Lock ensures an intuitive, secure, and practical unlocking of the knife. The non-slip handle with textured squares is made of high-strength GFN and feels comfortable in the hand.
