Tradition and modernity are not opposites that exclude each other in the world of knives. Rather, there is a noticeable trend in the knife industry to give timeless classics a more modern and contemporary appearance by making targeted changes to the product designs. Of course, the basic concept of the knife must not be denied. The Böker Uno knife series also follows this approach of the so-called Modern Traditionals

The designs Trapper and Delicate have been timeless classics in the product lines of renowned international manufacturers of classic pocket knives for over a hundred years. In the traditional version, both models are equipped with upper and lower jaws. The Uno series dispenses with the cheeks at the end of the handle, and owes its name to this modification. The two models are no longer just work knives for the ranch or construction site, but also impress as high-quality EDC knives in the barbershop or at the picnic. To match this, we have chosen noble handle scales made of certified imported desert ironwood, which are riveted onto brass liners. The blades are made of 440C and do not lock. The completely handcrafted slipjoint knives made in the Böker Manufaktur Solingen are delivered with the newly reissued historical Böker tree emblem
