Even in the world of high-tech materials such as powder metallurgical steels, composite materials like carbon or G110, and technical metals like titanium or zirconium, classic pocket knives continue to enjoy unbroken popularity. Traditional building forms such as Trapper, Scout, Barlow, or our sports knife have always been highly valued companions in everyday life, appreciated by all age groups. With the series "Classic Gold", we are deliberately setting a contrast to modernly manufactured blades, which, although absolutely up to date with a laser-engraved logo, do not necessarily exude the charm of old times. So with the "Classic Gold" series, we have returned to old craftsmanship and equipped the blades with a genuine classic gold etching, as was more common in high-quality knives in the past. To emphasize the noble claim, the knives in this series feature handles made of selected, certified imported desert ironwood, which is not only extremely durable but also provides an exceptionally elegant appearance. This ensemble is crowned by a classic Böker emblem, which is embedded in the handle scale. The series "Classic Gold" thus represents a bridge to past times, which thereby come alive in a tangible way
The six-piece Böker sports knife has been handcrafted in our Solingen manufactory since 1869. It is equipped with two blades, a can and bottle opener, an awl and reamer, as well as a corkscrew and a slotted screwdriver. Both blades are made of polished 4034 steel, the classic Solingen blade steel that combines corrosion resistance, edge retention, and easy sharpening. The cornerstone of our product range features polished nickel silver bolsters and the Boker emblem in a handle scale made of desert ironwood. The traditional design is perfectly pocket-friendly and offers clear practical benefits. To extend the instruments, you always need two hands, the blades are not lockable. Instead, the classic support springs keep the knife open. Thanks to the practical lanyard loop, the knife can easily be attached to bags or other objects
