Böker - Cattle Knife Bone
Mid of the 19. In the 19th century, the first multi-functional tools were invented in Solingen. One of the most famous ones to this day is the multi-part Böker sports knife, one of the grandfathers of the well-known Swiss Army knife. In North America, the knife also began its ongoing triumph and convinced countless customers. However, the call for a larger and more robust knife of similar design that is also suitable for the tough everyday life on the ranch or in the wilderness quickly arose. The idea of the Cattle Knife was born. Today, classic pocket knives are experiencing a renaissance as Modern Traditionals, reflecting values such as sustainability, natural materials, and genuine craftsmanship. Modern pocket knives no longer necessarily require additional blades, as the main blade can easily handle all tasks that arise in urban everyday life due to the significantly improved steel quality compared to earlier versions
The Böker Cattle Knife is a full-grown slipjoint pocket knife for everyday use, equipped with a blade made of N690 in a historical blade shape. A strong spring keeps the blade in the open position as well as at 90 degrees. The long nail pull, also known as Long Pull, is equipped with fine serrations, allowing the ignition of suitable matches. The handle of the knife is made of brass, while the decorative bolsters are made of nickel silver and adorned with a finely milled groove. The handle material used is traditionally textured bone (Jigged Bone). The completely handcrafted knife from the Böker Manufaktur Solingen is delivered with the newly reissued historical Böker tree emblem
