Böker - DBK Bushfriend 2000 Storm
Beyond limits; just further! New experiences with well-known virtues, derived from endurance, dedication, and positive craziness for a liberating breath away from everyday hustle. Fresh adventure air with increased outdoor content – selected ingredients that are just to the taste of Maarten and Mikkie from Dutch Bushcraft Knives (DBK). The two Dutchmen are best friends, have the best hobby, and provide top entertainment on their widely popular YouTube channel with over 300.000 subscribers. More than just a good reason to develop an exciting bushcraft knife with Böker that makes nature more tangible than ever. Shaped from passion, sweat, and Solingen precision, the Böker DBK Bushfriend 2000 transforms untamed drive into emotional uplift.
Thanks to the high-strength full-tang construction with a sandblasted drop point blade made of edge-retaining and shock-resistant 80CrV2 blade steel, the fixed knife becomes an indispensable companion for the next bushcraft or outdoor camp. The high saber grind is ideal for fine tasks like feathering sticks, as well as rough work like the obligatory batoning, and even some unconventional durability tests on the DBK test bench.
Always providing a pleasant feel in the hand, the ergonomic handle is made from sustainable Richlite, a premium composite of resin and FSC-certified or recycled paper, which is finished in an elegant Black Diamond look on the DBK Bushfriend 2000. Finally, the knife is sandblasted.
Brass rivets, with the rear hollow rivet serving as a lanyard hole, create a harmonious contrast and make a visual statement. Comes with a high-quality leather sheath. Handmade for nature mates – directly from the Böker Manufaktur Solingen.
Warning and Safety Information:
Cut Injuries: The most common hazard when using knives is the risk of cut injuries. Sharp blades can quickly penetrate skin and tissue.
Slipping of the Knife: Improper or excessive pressure can cause the knife to slip, leading to uncontrolled movements that may cause injuries.
Injuries from falls: Knives should never be left unsecured or near table edges to prevent them from falling and injuring someone.
Dull knives: Dull knives pose a greater risk of injury because they require more force and can slip more easily. Therefore, knives should be regularly and properly sharpened.
Improper use: Using a knife for tasks it is not intended for (e.g., as a lever tool) can not only damage the blade but also lead to accidents.
