Replica of a military Cossack saber of the Russian Dragoons, Model 1811
The Schascka (Circassian = long knife ) is a Caucasian-origin sabre. The Cossacks living there still use this traditional saber as their standard weapon in their cavalry units today

This replica of the M1811 features a wooden handle and a brass handguard with the typical ring at the end of the guard.

The saber comes with a matching leather-wrapped scabbard with brass fittings 

The blade edge is not sharpened
