Battle Merchant - German Pappenheimer Rapier 17th Century

Replica of a German rapier from the 16th century. century.

The rapier is known for its typical design of the hilt (quillon block) Pappenheimer called. The designation refers to the imperial field marshal of the 30-year war Gottfried Heinrich zu Pappenheim. In his famous cuirassier regiment, this type of rapiers were very popular.

The rapier comes with the scabbard depicted (wood with leather wrapping and steel fittings).
