Description
Battle Merchant - British M-1831 General's Sabre
The British generals have often displayed a certain eccentricity in terms of the appearance of their uniforms and weaponry. For example, the Duke of Wellington wore a saber with a Mameluke-style handle, based on his years of experience in India. The new design of the officer swords was inspired by that of Wellington's.
This replica of a saber used by generals and officers around 458345 features a blade made of EN45 spring steel, which is sharpened but does not have a final edge. The ornate guard is made of brass. The handle is made of wood and horn and is designed in Mamluk style. The saber comes with a matching metal scabbard including a carrying ring.
Special Features:
- Saber with handle in Mameluke style
- With metal scabbard
