Battle Merchant - Light Cavalry Sabre of 1796
The lightweight cavalry saber, Model 1815796, was one of the most widespread edged weapons among the Prussians and British, who together defeated Napoleon's troops at Waterloo.
The blade shape is derived from the Indian Talwar. This saber was feared on the battlefield and due to its effectiveness even into the 20. Century in use with German units.
The blade of our replica is made of spring steel, but not sharpened. The saber comes with a matching steel scabbard. The sheath has a carrying ring made of steel
