Terms and Conditions

Scope of application

For all deliveries and services, the conditions defined in our terms and conditions (AGB) apply generally.

Liability

The ordering, as well as the handling and use of the items purchased from Meister Messer GmbH, are the responsibility of the customer. Minors under 18 years of age and wards require the consent of a legal guardian or the guardian who is present when accepting the terms and conditions.

Inventory information

The stock indication of a single item refers to the quantity available at Meister Messer GmbH or their suppliers for the respective item. The indicated stock levels may differ from the actual number of available items and should therefore be considered as provisional.

Order

Once you have submitted an order, it is binding for you. After the order has been triggered, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. We reserve the right to cancel orders in case of delivery bottlenecks on the part of our suppliers.

Minimum order value

There is no minimum order value.

Delivery

Delivery is only available within Switzerland.
The delivery times are indicated for each item. If a delivery cannot be guaranteed within this period, you will be informed of the expected delivery time as soon as possible.
The items in an order are typically shipped together. If the delivery times of the individual items differ, the longest specified delivery times apply.
When choosing the payment method prepayment, the delivery times apply from receipt of payment.
Deliveries with a value of more than CHF 300.00 will be sent by registered mail.

Prices

The prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include the legal value-added tax. The shipping costs are not included in the prices stated, but will be shown during the ordering process.

Shipping costs

For shipping with Swiss Post (A-Priority), a flat rate of CHF 9.00 will be charged.

Complaint about defects

Deliveries from Meister Messer GmbH are to be checked immediately upon receipt for defects and accuracy. Any related complaints must be made in writing within a period of 7 days, otherwise the delivery will be deemed accepted. In case of justified complaints, a refund of the purchase price will be made upon return of the goods. The return of the goods must always be complete and in the original packaging in this case.
An additional secondary liability for indirect damages arising from the goods or any defects is excluded beyond the value of the goods.

Return policy

General:
Returns must always be reported via email to help@meister-messer.ch and providing bank details (IBAN) for the refund.
Returns must always be returned to our warehouse in Muttenz with the return label on the enclosed delivery note.
The delivery note must be enclosed. One of the reasons "Wrongly ordered", "Wrongly delivered", or "Defective" must be marked on it.

Defect upon receipt:
In case of receiving defective items, they must be reported within 7 days. Otherwise, the delivery will be considered accepted.
The return shipping costs will be refunded to the customer.

Defect after use:
If you suspect a manufacturing defect because the item was damaged during use, please contact us at (help@meister-messer.ch). We always find a solution.

Wrong delivery:
Incorrectly delivered items must be reported within 7 days. Otherwise, the delivery will be deemed accepted. The return shipping costs will be refunded to the customer.

Wrongly ordered:
There is a return policy of 7 days.
Shipping costs will not be refunded and the return shipping costs will also be borne by the customer.
No processing fee will be charged.

ATTENTION:
We kindly ask you to handle the return policy responsibly. We would appreciate it if we did not have to introduce any processing fees.
We understand that sometimes an item may not appeal to you or fit properly. That's why it is important to us to offer a return policy, and we would like to maintain our generous handling of returns.

Credit check and scoring

Meister Messer GmbH reserves the right to obtain credit information about the customer in order to safeguard its own interests in the context of the purchase process and may, for this purpose, disclose customer data to third parties.

Here, the personal data (first and last name as well as address data) required for a credit check are transmitted to an external credit agency. CRIF AG, Hagenholzstrasse 81, 8050 Zurich, based on mathematical-statistical methods, carries out an appropriate assessment of creditworthiness and creditworthiness. The information subsequently obtained about the statistical probability of a payment default flows into the decision on the establishment, implementation, or termination of the contractual relationship.

Credit checks are carried out in compliance with the relevant data protection regulations and with special consideration for your worthy of protection interests. Please note that only CRIF AG can provide information on which data was used to calculate your credit profile.

Purchase on Invoice / Reminder Fees

The invoice is payable within 20 days. The invoice is considered paid on time if the amount due is received in the recipient's account by the end of the last day of the payment deadline.

If the payment deadline is not met and no fixed due date has been agreed upon, the customer will be in default of payment through reminder. In case of default of payment, the delinquent customer will be charged reminder fees of (first reminder CHF 20.00, second reminder CHF 25.00). If the claim is still not settled after the reminders have been delivered, Meister Messer GmbH reserves the right to assign the claim to third parties or to engage in debt collection at the customer's expense.

Legal enforcement/collection costs in case of payment default

The amount of legal enforcement/debt collection costs is determined based on the outstanding claim:

Passing on personal data Meister Messer Meister Messer GmbH, Fabian Meister, Frohaldenstrasse, Bülach

Your personal data will be passed on to the transport company or the corresponding financial service provider responsible for delivery as part of the contract processing, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery or payment of the goods.

Ownership reservation

Until full payment is made, the goods remain the property of Meister Messer GmbH.

Weapons Act

We do not sell weapons!
All our items are not considered weapons under Swiss law and are freely available for sale.

Compensation for damages

Claims for damages due to errors in illustrations, prices, and texts or due to delayed or non-delivery are strictly excluded. The color of the products depicted in the online shop may differ from the actual product color.

Language of the Terms and Conditions

The General Terms and Conditions are originally written in German. This text is considered the authoritative and binding version. Translations into other languages are provided for better understanding only and are to be considered non-binding. In case of discrepancies or differences between the German version and translations into other languages, the German version always takes precedence. Users confirm by using our services that they understand the German language to the extent necessary to comprehend and accept the terms and obligations set forth in these General Terms and Conditions.

Final provisions

These terms and conditions and all contracts arising from these terms and conditions are subject to Swiss law.
