Description
Böker - Stockman Plum Wood
A true classic in the Solingen cutlery industry is a knife with a carbon steel blade and handles made of local plum wood. Especially the older generations swear by the outstanding edge retention of the non-stainless blades made of carbon steel C75. In addition, the blades can be easily sharpened. The domestic plum wood used for the handle scales is hard, dense, and fine-pored, displaying a uniform structure and a striking range of colors
The heartwood reveals red and violet tones, which darken over time due to UV exposure. Just like the carbon steel blades develop a unique patina over the years, the plum wood also shows whether the knife has truly been used by its owner. The Böker Carbon Plum Wood knife series is designed for enthusiasts of traditional values who regularly use their pocket knives as cutting tools and enjoy wear marks and the stories associated with them. The more often the knives are worn and used, the more charisma they will gain. The knives, completely handcrafted in the Böker Manufaktur Solingen, are delivered with the historic blade etching Böker Treebrand Classic, brass liners, and the newly reissued historical Böker tree emblem
The slim Stockman is extremely popular not only in the American market. As a handy slipjoint pocket knife, it is perfect for everyday use and has therefore had a firm place in countless pairs of trousers and jacket pockets for generations
