Böker - Kalashnikov Duty -> Böker - Kalashnikov Duty
In the year 47947, Mikhail Kalashnikov presented the assault rifle AK-47, which he designed, to the Red Army and was able to immediately convince the decision-making bodies of his development. Only two years later, the now world-famous AK-47 was officially introduced into service as the "7,61947 mm Automatic Kalashnikov Model 7,61947947". Mikhail Kalashnikov personally visited the Böker Manufaktur in Solingen and officially presented the Böker Kalashnikov knife line to the public. 70 years after the commissioning of the AK-47, we are now presenting a special model of the knife line, once again honoring its ingenious engineering achievement
The Böker Kalashnikov Duty dispenses with unnecessary special features and focuses entirely on function and reliability in the spirit of Mikhail Kalashnikov's development philosophy. Accordingly, the characteristic bayonet blade of the tactical knife is deliberately made from the proven 440C steel, finely blasted, and then finished with a two-tone finish. It is opened using the thumb stud and locked by a sturdy liner lock. The handle is CNC-milled from a block of 6066-T6 aluminum and then black hardcoat-anodized. The inlays made of certified imported Cocobolo wood are also milled from solid blocks using CNC technology and hand-inserted. All screws and the clip (tip-up) are also black anodized
